Is Invisalign Treatment Painful?

The  forces our patients feel are gentle and constant. It usually takes place on the first few days after a patient fits the new aligner. It is a temporary discomfort and will pass with time. This pressure is a good sign that the aligners are working and gradually moving the teeth into alignment. We encourage our patients to call the office, if they feel more discomfort or if they have any questions regarding the treatment. 

What is Treatment Process?

Invisalign treatment starts with a consultation with an Invisalign-trained doctor.  Dr. Glueckert continually trains with Invisalign to further her education and to keep up to date with the newest technique.  She willevaluate your smile and then map out a precise, customized digital treatment plan that showcases the step-by-step transformation of your smile.

Once you approve the plan, the laboratory will create your unique aligners. You will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed by Dr. Glueckert. Each set of aligners will gently and gradually shift your teeth and in time you will the beautiful smile you always dreamed of.
